Snake Robot

Large equipment struggles in tight search & rescue spaces. Snake robots, small & flexible, can navigate collapsed buildings & debris. Equipped with a variety of sensors, they send real-time data on conditions back to rescuers. These robots are valuable for search, rescue, inspections, and other tasks in complex environments.

Feature Highlighted

1. An ultra-narrow, single-row drive snake-like bionic robot:

Features double tracks arranged longitudinally in front and back, connected by multiple high-torque servo joints. This straight-line configuration enables it to navigate through pipes and similarly narrow spaces

2. Excellent environmental adaptability:

Utilizes software-assisted motion control in non-structural environments. Its three-segment structure and flexible joints with multiple degrees of freedom enable it to navigate various complex terrains such as gravel, obstacles, and steep slopes

3. Dual-system monitoring function:

The robot features a dual-light module for video image acquisition of the on-site environment and equipment. Additionally, it includes a fill light that automatically activates in low ambient light conditions, enhancing adaptability for inspections and ensuring accurate video data collection.

4. Reliable data and accurate information:

The snake robot is equipped with a wireless module for remote control and real-time collection, transmission, and storage of gas, temperature, video, and other parameters within wells.

Application

       Disaster Rescue

Under Mine Rescue
Tunnel Rescue

Pipelines Ship's cabin inspections

Main Function

Morphing function

The snake robot employs four rotary joints in its mid-section for continuous morphing, allowing it to adapt to various modes such as tightly constricted for delivery, tank-like for cruising in open fields, and snake-like for rugged terrains. This versatility ensures operators can effectively navigate diverse environments.

Intelligent patrol inspection function

The robot operates on a routine system where it automatically initiates and completes inspection tasks based on preset parameters such as content, time, and path. For special inspections, operators can manually set inspection points, allowing the robot to independently conduct inspections at these points. In remote control mode, operators can manually control the robot to perform inspections. This allows for repeated on-site equipment inspections and continuous, dynamic data collection and system storage of equipment status.

Video Surveillance Function

The snake robot is able to complete the video image acquisition of on-site environment and equipment through the high-definition visible light camera it carries. In addition, the robot is equipped with a fill light, in the scene of the environmental light situation, the fill light is automatically turned on, increasing the adaptability of low-light environment inspection, to ensure the accuracy of video data collection.

Environmental monitoring function:

The snake robot carries multiple environmental monitoring sensor module include gas concentration (oxygen, methane, carbon monoxide), temperature and other environmental information in the field according to the user's needs and actual situation.

Data communication function:

The snake robot is able to collect visible light images, infrared thermal images and other information of the scene environment, which helps the rescuers at the rear to grasp the first-hand information in order to designate the best rescue plan.
